Decorative flakes broadcast into an epoxy base coat and sealed with a clear urethane. A slip-resistant, hard-wearing floor for garages, man caves, factories, locker rooms, showrooms and commercial kitchens.
Flake flooring is decorative vinyl flake broadcast into an epoxy base coat and sealed with a clear urethane topcoat. It combines industrial-level durability with a decorative surface, and the flake itself is what gives the floor its texture and its grip. Two ranges are available: a natural stone range for a premium, stone-like finish, and a standard range in a wide choice of colours for a more budget-conscious floor.
Decorative slip-resistant flake-broadcast epoxy for workshops, commercial kitchens and garages.
The slab is diamond-ground to open it up, repaired where it needs it, then primed.
Flake is broadcast into a wet epoxy base coat until the surface refuses any more, which is what gives an even colour with no bare patches.
Loose flake is removed and the surface scraped and sanded flat, so the texture underfoot is the flake and not sharp edges.
A clear urethane topcoat seals it, with coarse aggregate added where more grip is wanted.

Yes. Flake is blended to your colours, and both a standard range and a natural stone range are available.
The urethane topcoat resists most automotive and food chemicals. Severe chemical exposure moves the floor up to a vinyl ester or polyurethane cement system.
