Chemically resistant, thermal-shock tolerant epoxy and polyurethane cement systems for bakeries, breweries, processors and commercial kitchens across the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Coved skirting, falls to drain, and the manufacturer data sheets and SWMS with the quote.
Auditors walking the line. Thermal shock at wash-down. Coving that fails. Material data the auditor can't read.
Each system is chosen against your slab, your chemicals and your downtime window. Links go to the full service page.
Jointless epoxy and resin coatings for warehouses, factories, garages and commercial facilities.
Heavy-duty resin and polyurethane systems for forklift traffic, chemical exposure and hot washdown.
Vinyl flake broadcast into a resin base. Decorative and slip-resistant for garages, workshops and pool surrounds.
For facility managers, builders and project managers who are past the brochure stage.
Food and beverage processing floors are hygiene-graded, chemically resistant, thermal-shock tolerant and audit-ready by definition. The compliance baseline is FSANZ Standard 3.2.3 for food premises construction, layered with HACCP audit requirements, retailer standards where the site supplies to major grocers, and export standards where product ships internationally. Every floor we install in this vertical is built to carry the manufacturer documentation the next audit will ask for.
Typical build-ups start with polyurethane cement at 6 to 9 mm total thickness from a manufacturer with HACCP-aligned system data. 100 mm radius monolithic coving runs up the wall junctions, with no cold joint between floor and cove. Fall-to-drain is laser-screeded at 1:80 or steeper, with drain locations designed upfront rather than retrofitted. Antimicrobial silver-ion additive is specified and declared on the system data sheet. Textured broadcast at the topcoat stage gives wash-down zones their grip, and where the spec calls for slip testing to AS 4586 we arrange it.
Materials matter every time the system touches food contact. The polyurethane cement chemistry is the only family that survives 120 degree steam clean, dairy organic acids, fruit acids and brewery wort without degrading. Epoxy is specified in cooler, drier zones inside the same plant where the full polyurethane cement spec is not required. Antimicrobial additives are third-party tested and declared by the manufacturer, not inferred. The sealer, the coving, the drain set and the topcoat all pair on the one manufacturer system so the audit documentation is consistent.
Site conditions that move the spec: bakeries need fall-to-drain and fat-resistant polyurethane cement. Breweries need organic acid resistance and textured broadcast for wash-down. Commercial kitchens need food-acid-rated epoxy or polyurethane cement depending on the throughput. Dairy plants need heavy texture throughout. Cold stores need MMA fast-cure. Export plants need documentation in the form the certifying body accepts.
Install approach is the production window. Stripped, ground, repaired, primed, installed and handed back inside the shutdown you can give us, with MMA where the calendar is tightest. We plan the window with you before we quote and put the programme in writing. Documentation runs through SDS, system data sheets, the manufacturer's HACCP declaration, maintenance guide, SWMS and insurance, all bundled on hand-back.
What to expect is audit-conscious, and we set it out before we quote. We tell you how the floor will handle your chemistry and cleaning regime, how to look after it, and what will shorten its life, and we put the terms in writing with the price. The maintenance guide covers cleaning chemistry, temperatures and frequency, which matters because the wrong cleaner destroys the antimicrobial additive and the wrong temperature destroys the bond. Every part of the hand-back is tuned to make the next audit straightforward.
Manufacturer data sheets, SWMS and insurance certificates come with the quote.
| Standard | What it means for the floor |
|---|---|
| FSANZ Standard 3.2.3 | The food premises standard your auditor works to. Coving, falls and cleanable surfaces are the flooring parts of it. |
| Polyurethane cement | Polyurethane cement systems for hot wash-down, thermal shock and organic acids. |
| AS 4586 slip rating | Textured finishes for wash-down zones. Slip testing arranged where the spec calls for it. |
| Coving | Coved skirting formed as part of the floor system, not a separate trim. |
| Fall-to-drain | Falls screeded in before the system goes down. Drain locations agreed first. |
| Antimicrobial additives | Available in some systems where the spec calls for them; declared on the manufacturer data sheet. |
We work around your production window. Strip, grind, repair, prime, install and hand back, with the shutdown dates in the programme with the quote.

Polyurethane cement and epoxy systems are widely used in food and beverage plants. We send the manufacturer data sheets and SDS with the quote so you can put them in front of your auditor.
Textured broadcast finishes are used in wash-down zones. If the spec calls for a slip rating, we arrange testing on completion.
Yes. Coved skirting formed with the floor system, falls to drain screeded in, and new drain sets where required.
Usually, yes. Tell us the window and we will tell you honestly whether the system can go in and cure inside it. Fast-cure systems are available where the window is tight.
