Mechanically polished concrete is the slab itself, densified and ground through progressively finer diamond grits until it reaches the stone exposure and gloss you nominated. There is no coating on top, so there is nothing to wear through and no re-coat cycle. Four exposure levels run from a cream finish with no stone showing to full stone exposure, and gloss runs from matte through satin to a mirror finish.

Resin-bond pads through 400, 800, 1500 and where a mirror finish is wanted 3000 grit.

Yes, if it is sound and 25 MPa or above. We moisture-test, map defects and flag any repair scope before quoting.
Most warehouses take medium or full exposure at 400 grit. FF/FL flatness can be specified where the racking needs it.
Densified polished concrete sits at Mohs 7 to 8. Fork truck wheel scuffs are cosmetic and burnish out at maintenance.
