Resin and polished systems chosen for impact, chemical spill, thermal shock and heavy plant loads. Install windows planned around your shutdowns, with SWMS, H-class extraction and staged hand-back so you're never fully dark.
Chemical spill burning the slab. Thermal shock cracking. Impact spalling under presses. SWMS you can actually audit.
Each system is chosen against your slab, your chemicals and your downtime window. Links go to the full service page.
Jointless epoxy and resin coatings for warehouses, factories, garages and commercial facilities.
Heavy-duty resin and polyurethane systems for forklift traffic, chemical exposure and hot washdown.
Polished into the slab itself, high-gloss or satin. Showrooms, offices, living areas and warehouse floors.
For facility managers, builders and project managers who are past the brochure stage.
Manufacturing floors carry five governing conditions: aggressive chemical exposure, thermal shock from steam cleaning, heavy plant and press loads, impact from dropped tools and stock, and vibration from the line itself. ESD-sensitive electronics and pharma zones add a sixth. The specification brief has to match every one of them, because a coating that handles the first four and fails the fifth takes the production programme down with it.
Typical build-ups per exposure: high-build epoxy at 500 to 1000 microns DFT for general factory and production hall floors with chemical matrices inside mainstream epoxy tolerance. Polyurethane cement at 6 to 9 mm for wash-down zones and thermal-shock areas up to 120 degrees. Methyl methacrylate at 3 to 6 mm for cold stores, freezer rooms and short-shutdown windows where fast return-to-service matters most. Vinyl ester at 3 to 5 mm for battery rooms, electroplating and aggressive chemistry. ESD body coat to AS/NZS 61340 for conductive and dissipative applications, with resistance testing arranged where the spec calls for it.
Materials matter at every step. Thermal shock is a chemistry specification, not a marketing claim, and polyurethane cement is the only family that handles 120 degree steam clean without cracking. Chemical matrices to ASTM D1308 are per-system and per-reagent. Taber abrasion data to CS-17 and ISO 6272 impact data are published per system by the manufacturer. Every system we tender comes with the manufacturer data sheet matching the exposure survey, not a generic brand reference.
Site conditions that move the spec: existing curing compounds on old slabs require mechanical removal before priming. Moisture above 5.5 percent RH at depth requires a vapour-barrier primer. Old structural cracks require repair before prime and body coat. Existing failing coatings require a bond test and often a full strip rather than a coat-over. Production constraints move the spec toward fast-cure MMA where a full shutdown is not practical.
Install approach is planned around the production calendar. Shutdown installs are planned to fit the window you have. Staged line-by-line installs run across a longer programme so production never stops. Fast-cure MMA systems shorten the return-to-service where downtime is critical. SWMS, H-class extraction, fit-tested respirators and public liability insurance run as standard, and induction paperwork is provided on request.
What to expect is system-specific, and we set it out before we quote. We tell you how the floor will handle your chemistry, your loads and your wash-down, how to look after it, and what will shorten its life, and we put the terms in writing with the price. Chemical matrices and system data sheets are bundled on hand-back for the next audit, and where the spec calls for ESD resistance testing or slip testing we arrange it. When an existing floor has already failed, we strip, remediate and rebuild rather than coat over a compromised system.
Manufacturer data sheets, SWMS and insurance certificates come with the quote.
| Standard | What it means for the floor |
|---|---|
| Chemical resistance | Manufacturer resistance data for the system we recommend, matched against your SDS list. |
| Abrasion resistance | Abrasion figures come from the manufacturer data sheet for the system, not from us. |
| Impact resistance | Depends on build thickness. Heavier builds under presses and in drop zones. |
| AS/NZS 61340 ESD | ESD-rated systems where the spec calls for them. |
| Thermal shock | Polyurethane cement systems where hot wash-down or steam cleaning is part of the routine. |
Planned around your production calendar. Shutdown, major maintenance window, or staged line-by-line hand-back. Fast-cure systems where the downtime window is tight.

Often yes, zone by zone. We erect dust hoarding, run H-class extraction, and use fast-cure systems where the window is tight.
We send the manufacturer's chemical resistance data for the system we recommend. Send your SDS list and we will match a system to it.
ESD-rated systems where the spec calls for them. Tell us the resistance range the spec needs and we will match a system to it.
Yes, after a bond test and moisture check. We repair, prime and re-coat, or strip and re-lay if the existing system is compromised.
