Polished concrete, grind and seal, benchtops and flake floors for Gold Coast homes. We come and look at your floor, tell you what it can become, then give you a fixed price in writing.
Most people aren’t. That’s normal, and it’s not something you need to solve before calling us.
Grind and seal is the usual answer. Ground flat, sealed against the weather, finished non-slip. Honed concrete gives you the same durability with a softer matte look, which suits alfresco areas and pool surrounds.
Mechanically polished concrete gives you depth and shine that comes from the slab itself, so it never needs recoating. Microcement is the option when the surface underneath isn’t concrete, or when you want an unbroken stone look over tiles.
Flake floors are the popular choice: speckled, tough, easy to hose out, and they hide tyre marks. Epoxy suits it too if you’re working on cars.
Have a look through. If you can see the one you want, great. If not, send us a photo of your floor and we'll tell you what suits it.

It depends far more on the condition of your slab than on the square metres. A flat, sound, recently poured slab is straightforward. An old driveway with cracks, oil stains or an existing coating needs prep work first, and that's where the cost moves. We quote a fixed price in writing after looking at the floor, so there are no surprises once we start. Send photos with your enquiry and we can tell you a lot before we visit.
For most Gold Coast driveways we recommend grind and seal. It handles the weather, hides more of the slab's natural variation, gives you a non-slip finish, and it's the more affordable option. Fully polished concrete is better suited to indoor living areas where you want depth and shine you'll never need to recoat. If the driveway is steep, tell us, because slip resistance becomes the deciding factor.
Less than people expect. We run H-class dust extraction off the grinders, so the dust is captured at the head rather than drifting through your house. We still mask off doorways and cover what needs covering. It's not a no-dust job, but it's a long way from the clouds people picture.
Usually yes, if we're working outside or in a room that can be closed off. If we're doing your main living area you'll need to keep off it while it's being ground and while the sealer cures. We'll tell you exactly which days matter when we quote, so you can plan around it.
That's most of our work. Cracks can be filled, old coatings removed, stains ground out and tired concrete brought back. Replacing a slab is expensive and rarely necessary. We'll tell you honestly if a floor is past saving, but it's not often.
It depends on the sealer and the weather: vehicles need longer than feet, and hot weather changes the timing. You'll get the exact walk-on and drive-on dates in writing with your quote.
